Subsequently, guests move through the workshop up to the studio above, where each step of the process unfolds, quietly and exactly as it has for centuries. Few outsiders are ever invited this close.

The visit concludes with a hands-on experience where guests create their own artisanal handmade gift. Working the same cords and techniques under the artisan's guidance, the patience each piece demands can be felt.
