Bottles of sake at a Kyoto sake brewery

Deepen your knowledge of sake and witness traditional brewing processes.

Sake, one of Japan's most famous products around the world, is often enjoyed with a variety of cuisines. However, its origins are purely Japanese. Although sake has seen an increase in popularity around the world, 98% of its consumption remains bounded in Japan. In effect, one may only be able to enjoy genuine sake in Japan.

This private tour explores the Fushimi area, known for its long-standing sake breweries. At Masuda Tokubei Shoten, founded in 1675, you can witness the craftsmanship of sake brewing that has been passed down through generations. Enjoy the flavors brought by this deep history.
